Suzy B. Gulliver, PhD, currently performs as the founding director and chief of the Warrior’s Research Institute. Highly active in the field of clinical psychology, the professional also maintains membership with such organizations as the American Psychological Association, the Association of VA Psychology Leaders, the Association for Advancement of Behavior Cognitive Therapy, and the Society for Behavioral Medicine, among others. Along with holding current roles as an ad hoc reviewer for publications like Nicotine and Tobacco Research and the Journal of Addictive Behavior, Dr. Suzy B. Gulliver has written on topics related to addiction in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including Alcohol and Alcoholism and Psychopharmacology. In preparation for her career, Dr. Gulliver earned a bachelor of science in psychobiology from Quinnipiac College (now known as Quinnipiac University). Subsequently completing a master of arts in clinical psychology at Connecticut College, she next enrolled at the University of Vermont, where she procured a doctor of philosophy in clinical psychology. Complementing the aforementioned training, Suzy B. Gulliver, PhD, went on to complete the Behavioral Health Leadership Training Program through the Veterans Health Administration and a National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism fellowship at Brown University.
